The outsiders in this book could be the people on the south side of the railroad tracks. I think that we should listen to them because they do have some good ideas because some kids don’t care about their future but some kids do. I feel that the kids that do care about their future should be able to go to school with other kids that feel the same way as them. I think that if the schools were set up that way there would be more success because the kids are doing what they like to do and they are with other kids who are doing what they like so that provides a good learning enviorment. I think that it could be a bad thing because the kids might not have a diverse group of people with them so therefore they could be more loners. I think that outsiders in the book could be related to outsiders in todays world because there are so many different groups of people. This could be blacks or whites or this could be different social groups. The word outsider can have many different meanings.
